This policy describes the limited information FINDOOSH may process while providing product search, comparison, and outbound merchant links. The current service does not require user accounts.
Information we process
FINDOOSH may process search queries, locale, market context, outbound click identifiers, product, offer and merchant attribution, placement or source context, and timestamps. The current click identifiers and SubIDs are opaque and are not designed to contain personal information.
Why we process it
This information supports search results, market-appropriate offers, reliable outbound redirects, affiliate attribution, service measurement, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and product improvement.
Affiliate and click tracking
When a user follows an offer, FINDOOSH may create a unique click identifier and associate it with the selected offer, product, merchant, market, locale, placement, and time. An affiliate provider or merchant may receive a supported opaque tracking value so an eligible action can be attributed.
Third-party merchant websites
After leaving FINDOOSH, the merchant or other third party operates the destination website. Its privacy notice, cookies, payment systems, and data practices apply independently from FINDOOSH.
Cookies and related technologies
FINDOOSH does not currently require accounts. The service or future analytics and affiliate technologies may use cookies or similar technologies where appropriate. This policy will be updated if those practices materially change, and consent choices will be provided where required.
Retention and security
Information is retained for periods reasonably needed for attribution, reporting, troubleshooting, security, and legal or operational requirements. FINDOOSH uses reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
International users
FINDOOSH is designed for users in multiple countries. Information may be processed in locations different from a user’s country, subject to applicable requirements and the infrastructure used to operate the service.
